Gain experience in the actual workplace

インターンシップモデル

If you can experience being an engineer or researcher in the real world while you are still a student, how meaningful it will be for you in planning your own future. Senior undergraduate students entering graduate school are sent to a company for about five months from October (about six months from September for overseas students) to gain on-the-job experience.
Unlike corporate training programs that last only a few weeks, trainees are given a cohesive theme as a member of the field, and therefore have a great deal of responsibility.
Students put their knowledge to the test and learn what society expects of them.
They return to university having grown up a size or two by learning about the rigors of the actual work environment.
In this system, students enter graduate school with the knowledge, skills, and awareness of the issues they learned during their on-the-job training.
The importance of internships is now being pointed out in various fields, we call this “Jitsumu-Kunren” and have been implementing it since our founding of the university as an important system that we are proud of in our educational activities.
